Red Paint People put out a couple of 7″s and where on some compilations (including Scrabble.) They played brutal, bone-rattling rock and roll much in the vein of the Amp Rep/Touch & Go bands of the same time. In the early 90′s they played a lot of shows in Philly and along with Kitschchao brought a loud hardcore influenced rock back to the scene. The band was made up of Chris Hunter on guitar (Little Gentlemen, If, Goats, Mothra & currently DTO{They have a show on 6/5/2011}), Eric Hammarberg on bass (Double Penetration, Ben Arnold) Stroller on Drums and there singer was Matt.
The tracks below are the two 7″s plus a lot of bonus songs that I got from Chris (Thanks).

Scrapple 7″ Box Set
A box set of 4 7″‘s put out in 1994 by WKDU. There are 16 bands all from the Philly area with a pretty wide range of styles.
Below the tracks I have put up scans of the cover and the insert that came in the box – each band got a page of the insert.
To the best of my knowledge all of the music links are for recordings that are out of print but if you enjoy what you hear, buy other records and support the artist(s)...
