Sebadoh – Khyber Philadelphia, PA

The tape of this show has no date on it – it just says Sebadoh & Khyber. So, I’m not really sure when it is from. My best guess would be around 1992 – 1994. I’m pretty sure this is the Sebadoh with Lou, Jason and Eric although I could be wrong. My clues are it is not the Kyhber show where the band had a fight on stage and Lou left. Also, the songs are all from up to Bubble and Scrape.

Just put updates to the song titles Thanks for the comments. Sorry you’ll have to rename the mp3 files yourself.

This is from Feb 25th, 1992. Bob Fay on drums.

Track 1 is some tune they used to play at several shows in early 1992. Might be a cover by “Drunks With Guns”, but I’m not quite sure….
    Track 6 is “Losercore”.
Track 8 is “Soul And Fire”, not “Brand New Love” ! Apparently, they played it TWICE at this show !
    How cool is THAT ?!
    Track 10 is “Junk Bonds”.
Track 11 is “Pink Moon” (Nick Drake cover).
    Track 14 is “Mind Meld”.

02-cliche has a wonderful line just as the song starts… “I’m going home, can I borrow your tape later?”. Oh, those really were the days.
