Late 1990’s Philly Pop band started as a solo recording project by vocalist and guitarist Benjamin Xavier Kim, changing into a band with different members over the years including Tara Burke (Fursaxa, Special Guests, Un, Anahita, Sepviva Bells, Tau Emerald, The Valerie Project), Meg Baird (Espers, Fern Knight, Heron Oblivion, Slumber, The Baird Sisters, Trollslända, Watery Love) and Dave “Bass” Brown (Negative FX, Drug Emporium, Lyres, Sandoz Lime, The Grovellers, The Oysters, The Young Snakes), Angela DiFabio, Cara De La Cruz, David Bohl, Sam Weng and Steven Heise (WASNT WISNT)

“Drive-In Records first captured Thirteen’s sound of pensive, melodic indie through two 1997 singles. Resulting in several critical comparisons to Northern Soul and Orchids, the Kim and company would follow with the 1999 ep When We Were Together. Their first full-length Ever Decreasing Circles resulted a year later through Drive-In and Liquefaction Empire.” – From LastFM
